About the role#
QTS Medical Device Outsourcing is hiring a Quality Documentation Intern for Summer 2027. This full-time position provides technical support for documentation control and quality projects. You will work on-site in Bloomington, Minnesota, assisting the Quality Department with tasks from project definition through implementation.
What you'll do#
- Scan quality records and verify scan quality, page counts, and completeness.
- Process controlled documents through the QTS documentation system.
- Learn about QTS Quality System requirements, as well as FDA and ISO regulations.
- Retrieve support documentation as needed.
- Work with Device History Records (DHR) and Device Master Records (DMR).
- Maintain an organized work area and partner with other business segments.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a two-year technical program or a four-year degree program in Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Demonstrated skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- English language reading and writing proficiency.
- Experience with office equipment such as copiers, printers, fax machines, and scanners.
- Ability to maintain focus and accuracy during repetitive tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
