About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Technology Development Intern to join our Global Operations business group in Hillsboro, Oregon. This role focuses on transistor design and fabrication. You will work on projects related to transistor layout, device characterization, and test plan development.
What you'll do#
- Conduct development activities for transistor design and fabrication.
- Collect data using various lab bench tools.
- Perform device characterization and lab test measurements.
- Analyze data using software such as Data Brix, JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Design experiments and perform hands-on validation.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Coursework or experience in semiconductor device physics and electrical engineering.
- Experience with electrical engineering tools such as circuit simulators, TCAD, VNA/PNA, or spectrum analyzers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ADS/AWR or circuit layout software.
- A willingness to perform hands-on engineering work in a lab environment.
