About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Process Engineering Intern to join the Global Operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing, providing exposure to technical projects and collaboration with industry experts. You will work on specific assignments based on current business needs.
What you'll do#
- Learn and conduct development activities on process equipment.
- Collect data using various metrology tools.
- Analyze data using software such as JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes.
- Design and execute fab engineering trials.
- Manage projects in areas including evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, electroplating, plasma etch, dry/wet etch, photolithography, wafer dicing, and CMP.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Coursework or experience with semiconductor processing techniques such as PVD, CVD, lithography, optics, dry/wet etch, or CMP.
- A willingness to perform hands-on engineering work in a clean room facility.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- This position is located in Hillsboro, Oregon.
- The role is on-site.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
