About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in process engineering within our Global Operations business groups. You will work on technical projects and engage in daily development activities to support our manufacturing operations.
What you'll do#
- Learn and conduct development activities on process equipment.
- Collect data using various metrology tools.
- Analyze data with software such as JMP, Spotfire, or Excel.
- Troubleshoot processes and optimize recipes.
- Design and execute fab engineering trials.
- Complete projects in areas like evaporation, CVD, PVD, thin film depositing, electroplating, plasma etch, dry or wet etch, photolithography, wafer dicing, and CMP.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Coursework or experience with semiconductor processing techniques such as PVD, CVD, lithography, etch, and CMP.
- A willingness to perform hands-on engineering work in a clean room facility.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
