About the role#
Qorvo is looking for an Environmental Health & Safety Intern to join our Global Operations business group in Hillsboro. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will work on site, contributing to corporate programs through fieldwork and research.
What you'll do#
- Manage small EHS projects from start to finish.
- Conduct independent research to find solutions for operational challenges.
- Learn the regulatory and business requirements for environmental and safety topics.
- Collaborate across sites and contribute to team discussions regarding EHS programs.
- Perform site-based fieldwork to help improve corporate-level safety initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A BS or MS degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a similar safety-oriented program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Coursework or background knowledge in occupational safety.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other data management tools.
- Strong skills in problem solving, recordkeeping, and communication.
- Personal initiative and a customer service orientation.
- Ability to manage the scope and timeline of small projects.

- Location: Hillsboro, Oregon.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $23 to $31 per hour, depending on experience.
- Note: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
