About the role#
As a Tax JD Intern, you will work within our tax practice to help clients manage tax strategies and compliance. This internship provides exposure to the complexities of corporate tax while you contribute to projects and conduct research. You will work on a variety of assignments, learn from professional teams, and develop your skills in a hands-on environment.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Assist with the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
- Help with corporate tax planning and compliance activities.
- Engage in tax modeling and consulting to address specific client challenges.
- Contribute to post-deal integration and tax and finance integration projects.
- Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements.
- Research tax regulations and industry-specific issues.
- Use AI tools to create efficiencies in your work.
- Participate in team collaboration and accept feedback to grow professionally.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Juris Doctorate degree.
- A commitment to meeting educational requirements and passing the Bar exam.
- A preferred overall GPA of 3.5.
- Experience or interest in corporate tax planning and compliance projects.
- Knowledge of consolidated tax returns and corporate transactions.
- Ability to work well within diverse teams and communicate effectively with clients.
- Intellectual curiosity regarding tax and finance integration.

- Location: California.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Employment: Full time, paid internship.
- Travel: Up to 20 percent.
