About the role#
As a Tax JD Intern, you will gain exposure to tax practices by working alongside teams to deliver advice and planning strategies. You will focus on learning, participating in projects, and conducting research to support client needs. This role provides an opportunity to observe professional work environments while contributing to tax modeling and consulting assignments.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Assist with the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
- Help with corporate tax planning and compliance activities.
- Engage in tax modeling and consulting to address specific client challenges.
- Contribute to post-deal integration and tax and finance integration projects.
- Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements.
- Conduct research on tax regulations and industry-specific issues.
- Apply intellectual curiosity to explore tax solutions.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Juris Doctorate degree.
- Commitment to meeting educational requirements and passing the Bar exam before starting full-time employment.
- Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA.
- Ability to excel in teamwork and collaboration within diverse environments.
