About the role#
As a Tax JD Intern, you will join our tax practice to gain exposure to complex tax strategies and global tax operations. You will support our teams in helping clients manage tax risks and identify planning opportunities. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in San Francisco.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering tax advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review consolidated tax returns and income tax provisions.
- Assist with corporate tax planning and compliance activities.
- Engage in tax modeling and consulting for client-specific challenges.
- Contribute to post-deal integration and tax and finance integration projects.
- Collaborate on purchase and sale agreements.
- Research tax regulations and industry-specific issues.
- Apply AI tools to create efficiencies in your daily work.
- Listen actively to feedback and work effectively within a team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Juris Doctorate degree.
- Commitment to passing the Bar exam before starting full-time employment.
- Knowledge of consolidated tax returns and corporate transactions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Intellectual curiosity regarding tax and finance integration.
- A 3.5 overall GPA is preferred.

- Salary: $29.25 to $48.00 per hour.
