About the role#
As a Tax Intern, you will work with our tax consulting teams to gain exposure to global tax practices. You will support the delivery of tax services, participate in projects, and perform tasks that contribute to team goals. This role provides an opportunity to observe professional work environments, develop your skills, and build your professional brand.
What you'll do#
- Support tax teams in delivering advice and planning strategies.
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns and compliance documents.
- Analyze complex tax regulations to optimize positions and reduce risks.
- Engage in international tax planning and multistate tax compliance.
- Conduct tax research to support consulting projects.
- Collaborate with team members on tax models and structures for clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of tax provisions and audits.
- Use data analytics to identify opportunities for tax optimization.
- Support the development of regulatory compliance consulting strategies.
- Observe and learn from experienced tax professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- An overall GPA of at least 3.0.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time.
- Typically in your third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program.
