About the role#
As a Co-op in our Deals practice, you will join a team focused on Forensic Consulting, specifically within Fraud, Investigations, and Regulatory Enforcement. You will support clients by addressing business threats, risks, and complex financial issues. This role provides hands-on experience in legal and regulatory proceedings, including investigations into potential financial crime. You will work alongside experienced professionals while pursuing your Canadian CPA designation.
What you'll do#
- Handle, manipulate, and analyze data and information responsibly.
- Share and collaborate effectively with your team.
- Follow established risk management and compliance procedures.
- Communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written formats.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
- Identify and suggest improvements for project analysis.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or completion of post-secondary education, with a focus on Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Active pursuit of the Canadian CPA designation.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex ideas.
- Interest in upskilling for a digital world and learning new technology tools.
