About the role#
As an Audit Intern, you will join our Assurance practice to support financial statement audits. You will work within a team to provide independent assessments and help clients maintain regulatory compliance. This role offers exposure to audit methodologies and financial reporting processes in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits.
- Review and verify financial documents to uphold transparency.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends.
- Apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) to your daily tasks.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Document audit processes and findings to ensure organized records.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- You must be in your third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application.
- You must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam before starting full-time employment.
