About the role#
Internal Audit and Financial Advisory interns work with clients to solve complex business problems. You will collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions across various industries. This role provides exposure to business operations, consulting, data, and technology. You will interact with firm leaders and receive hands-on training throughout your project experiences.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding experience.
- Attend The Intern Challenge to build professional connections and confidence.
- Assist in business process audit and advisory or technology audit and advisory engagements.
- Engage in internal initiatives and work across diverse industries.
- Apply AI tools to analytical and research tasks to support client outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, or Finance.
- Current enrollment in a degree program with an expected graduation date within 12 months after the internship concludes.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements.
- Technical proficiency aligned with your assigned capability area.

- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, involving a mix of in-person work in local offices or at client sites and remote work.
