About the role#
Internal Audit and Financial Advisory interns work with major organizations to solve complex business problems. You will gain exposure to different industries while developing your technical and professional capabilities. We focus on providing a supportive environment where you can learn through real work, collaborate with teams, and interact with leaders across the practice.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions.
- Participate in the Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding experience and attend The Intern Challenge experiential learning course.
- Complete project experiences as assigned by Talent Managers.
- Help companies explore business processes, identify and mitigate risks, and develop solutions.
- Help clients meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Assess and advise on the technology landscape, including cybersecurity, AI risk, data governance, and cloud.
- Engage in internal initiatives and hands-on training.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Expected to graduate within 12 months after the internship concludes.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Demonstrated proficiency in applying AI tools to analytical and research tasks.
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements.
- Technical proficiency aligned with your assigned capability area.
Location & details#
- Location: San Francisco, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, involving a mix of in-person work in the office or at client sites and remote work.
- Employment: This is a full-time, paid internship with rolling terms.
