About the role#
The Part-Time Campus Activist works directly with pro-life student groups across Michigan. You will mentor and coach students, helping them grow as leaders in the pro-life movement. This role requires approximately 15 hours of work per week and is typically held by college students. You will report to the Campus Activist Supervisor and work at a designated school location.
What you'll do#
- Assist student leaders in growing their Protect Life group through regular meeting attendance and campus outreach.
- Conduct trainings and workshops to help students communicate the pro-life message effectively.
- Plan and facilitate large-scale campus events.
- Organize and participate in regular outreach activities.
- Serve as a liaison between student groups and other pro-life organizations.
- Host team-building activities and encourage students to pursue work in the movement.
What you'll need#
- A commitment to the pro-life movement and the mission of Protect Life Michigan.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Applications.
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking and written correspondence.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel.
- Experience in a campus pro-life group is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Candidates must be prepared to engage in support-raising as part of the role.

Protect Life Michigan is a non-profit organization established in 2005. It operates out of Lansing, Michigan, with a staff size between 11 and 50 employees.
