Internship – IT Systems & Cloud Operations

About the role#

Procon is seeking an IT Systems & Cloud Operations Intern to support company-wide IT infrastructure, cloud systems, security, and user access management. You will work with the Finance & Operations and IT leadership teams to gain hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, email migration, and enterprise software access management. This role focuses on IT operations rather than software development.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the GoDaddy to Microsoft 365 email migration, including Exchange Online configuration and mailbox management.
• Perform email flow testing, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC validation, and spam filtering.
• Manage Microsoft 365 tenant administration, such as user accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions.
• Support IT security and access control through MFA verification, admin account reviews, and role-based access control (RBAC).
• Conduct server room and IT infrastructure security checks, including access control verification and hardware documentation.
• Document employee access to internal software, including ERP systems and SaaS tools.
• Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes and maintain operational documentation and checklists.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science (systems/infrastructure-oriented), or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
• Familiarity with email systems and user account management.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed documentation.
• Comfort working with administrative systems and checklists.
• A detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of security and responsibility.
