About the role#
Procon is seeking an IT Systems and Cloud Operations Intern to support company-wide IT infrastructure, cloud systems, security, and user access management. This role provides hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, email system migration, IT security controls, and enterprise software access management. You will work with the Finance, Operations, and IT leadership teams to gain practical exposure to corporate IT operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the migration of email systems from GoDaddy to Microsoft 365, including configuration, mailbox management, and validating email flow.
- Manage Microsoft 365 tenant administration, including user accounts, licenses, groups, and permissions.
- Support IT security and access control by performing MFA verification, admin account reviews, and role-based access control (RBAC) tasks.
- Conduct server room and IT infrastructure security checks, including access control verification and hardware documentation.
- Document employee access to company software, including Microsoft 365, ERP systems, and internal SaaS tools.
- Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes while maintaining IT documentation and operational checklists.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, email systems, and user account management.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with a focus on administrative systems and checklists.
- Detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of security and responsibility.
- Preferred experience includes exposure to Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Exchange Online, Azure concepts, IT security fundamentals, or supporting internal IT teams.
