About the role#
Procon is hiring an IT Systems and Cloud Operations Intern to support our company infrastructure, cloud systems, and user access management. You will work with our leadership team to gain experience in Microsoft 365 administration, security controls, and enterprise software management. This role focuses on IT operations rather than software development.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the email migration from GoDaddy to Microsoft 365.
- Manage Exchange Online configurations and mailbox settings.
- Support IT security tasks, including MFA verification, admin account reviews, and role-based access control.
- Conduct security checks for the server room and IT infrastructure.
- Document employee access to company software, including Microsoft 365 and ERP systems.
- Help with onboarding and offboarding IT processes.
- Maintain operational checklists and IT documentation.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with email systems and user account management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Comfort working with administrative systems and checklists.
- A strong sense of responsibility regarding IT security.
