About the role#
Process Technology is looking for a Human Resources Intern to join our team in Mentor, Ohio. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role that offers hands-on experience across the employee lifecycle. You will work on recruiting, onboarding, and daily HR administration while gaining exposure to talent management and compliance.
What you'll do#
- Manage recruiting tasks such as posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Handle candidate communications during the hiring process.
- Coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding activities.
- Maintain employee records with a focus on data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist the team with HR audits, reporting, and compliance documentation.
- Support employee engagement programs and recognition initiatives.
- Prepare presentations, correspondence, and other HR documents.
- Help with HR projects related to training and process improvement.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide general administrative support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively.
- Clear verbal and written communication abilities.
- A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to handle sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience in an office, administrative, customer service, or internship role is preferred.
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms, applicant tracking systems, or HRIS software is a plus.
- An interest in talent acquisition, employee relations, or HR operations.
