About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to work directly with the Machine Learning Engineering team. You will focus on productionizing real-time priced markets within our platform. You will gain insight into how we handle data, scalability, performance, and MLOps challenges.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of optimal sport data stream architecture.
- Ensure data reliability in both speed and quality for data pipelines.
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to determine the best paths for operationalizing machine learning assets.
- Monitor and maintain model output quality, stability, and scalability.
What you'll need#
- A background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- A demonstrable history of building data-intensive applications.
- Experience with lower-level programming languages such as Rust, Java, or C++.
- Coursework or project experience building data pipelines or machine learning applications from scratch.
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
- A genuine interest in sports and fantasy sports markets.
- Success in open-source projects is a plus.
