About the role#
Angel City FC is looking for a Data Analytics Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. This internship provides hands-on experience in coding and sports business analytics. You will work with the Data team to support key metrics across business verticals and contribute to projects that impact our operations.
What you'll do#
- Support ticketing analytics by preparing reports on pricing optimization and forecasting.
- Assist with writing and reviewing code, testing dashboards, and creating documentation.
- Research and document legacy reporting and business KPIs while using AI tools.
- Research marketing trends and their impact on ticketing.
- Collaborate with the Ticket Sales team to communicate insights clearly.
- Support additional projects to learn and contribute to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university program, recent graduation, or equivalent experience.
- Education in data science, statistics, business, or a related area is preferred.
- An interest in sports, ticket sales, or data.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to work with different teams.
- Curiosity and a willingness to ask questions and take initiative.
- A genuine interest in Angel City FC and our mission.
Location & details#
- Location: Santa Monica, California.
- Modality: Hybrid (approximately 2-3 days per week in the office).
- Schedule: Approximately 20-25 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid, non-exempt position at $19 per hour.
- Note: The role may require occasional evening, weekend, or matchday work.
