About the role#
This internship provides practical work experience for students pursuing a degree in accounting. You will work within the tax department to gain insight into corporate financial operations and contribute to departmental goals. This role is a full-time position during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and international tax returns.
- Use tax software to enter data and generate forms for review.
- Perform research to support corporate tax positions.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the team.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an accredited bachelor’s program with a declared major in accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- A basic understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficiency with Excel and strong computer skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with PowerPoint and Word is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
- The role is for the Summer 2027 term and is a paid, full-time internship.
- Work is performed on-site with a hybrid schedule available after the initial summer period, requiring three days in the office per week based on your class schedule.
