About the role#
The IT Technician Intern role provides hands-on experience in enterprise IT support. You will work alongside senior IT staff to manage day-to-day operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and support enterprise teams, including C-suite executives. This position offers exposure to technology projects in an adventure-driven environment.
What you'll do#
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and executives.
- Support the implementation of the Freshdesk ticketing system.
- Use Intune to configure and automate device management processes.
- Assist with new user setups, account provisioning, and access control management.
- Document troubleshooting steps and best practices to build a knowledge base.
- Travel to Woodward locations and national park concessions to assist with hardware deployments and onsite support.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong interest in technology.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to bend, twist, push, pull, stand, and lift 50lbs.
- Comfort working in outdoor environments and availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.

- Term: Fall 2026 (late August/early September through December).
- Modality: On-site.
- Travel: Up to 10% travel may be required.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
