About the role#
The IT Technician Intern role provides hands-on experience in enterprise IT support within an adventure-driven environment. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals to contribute to real-world projects, build technical problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to innovative technology solutions. This position is for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise staff, including C-suite executives.
- Support the implementation of the Freshdesk ticketing system.
- Work with Intune to configure and automate device management processes for mobile and enterprise users.
- Assist in setting up new users, provisioning accounts, and managing access control.
- Travel to various locations to provide hands-on IT support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with hardware deployments.
- Document troubleshooting steps and best practices to contribute to the company knowledge base.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for technology.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in an outdoor environment and availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
