IT Technician Intern

About the role#

The IT Technician Intern role provides hands-on experience in enterprise IT support within an adventure-driven environment. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals to contribute to real-world projects, build technical problem-solving skills, and gain exposure to innovative technology solutions. This position is for the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for enterprise staff, including C-suite executives.
• Support the implementation of the Freshdesk ticketing system.
• Work with Intune to configure and automate device management processes for mobile and enterprise users.
• Assist in setting up new users, provisioning accounts, and managing access control.
• Travel to various locations to provide hands-on IT support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with hardware deployments.
• Document troubleshooting steps and best practices to contribute to the company knowledge base.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for technology.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in an outdoor environment and availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
