About the role#
The Operations Intern supports the Deposit Services Department through project-based assignments and administrative tasks. This role provides hands-on exposure to banking operations, records administration, and document management. You will contribute to the Bank's ongoing digitization efforts and process improvements while gaining practical experience in a regulated financial services environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the Bank's document digitization initiative by organizing, scanning, indexing, and uploading documentation into the DocuWare system.
- Maintain organized file inventories and tracking logs to monitor document processing.
- Identify and resolve document discrepancies, missing information, or indexing errors.
- Support records retention and document management practices in accordance with Bank policies.
- Provide administrative and operational support across departmental projects and day-to-day activities.
- Assist with quality control reviews to ensure the accuracy and integrity of digitized records.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle large volumes of records and documentation.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
