About the role#
This is a summer 2027 internship focused on warehouse inventory control, material management, and people leadership. You will assist with daily procurement, material receipts, and outbound shipments to ensure the manufacturing floor meets customer needs.
What you'll do#
- Oversee daily administrative tasks to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
- Act as a primary contact for escalated inquiries and resolve issues.
- Participate in internal and external audit activities.
- Lead teams by coaching employees and evaluating potential.
- Use LEAN principles to identify process challenges and drive improvements.
- Find opportunities to reduce costs and lead times.
- Manage warehouse metric goals to improve productivity and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure all products and processes meet internal, industry, and customer quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of lean and six sigma concepts.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Junior level status and a GPA of 3.0 or higher are preferred.
