About the role#
The Manufacturing Leadership Internship focuses on site leadership and team development. This role is designed for students interested in managing production environments and supporting the growth of our team members.
What you'll do#
- Support the execution of production schedules using financial forecasts, customer commitments, and capacity analysis.
- Ensure sufficient human and equipment resources are available to meet business objectives.
- Maintain compliance with internal, industry, and customer quality standards for both products and processes.
- Drive production KPIs within your assigned area.
- Implement and use lean manufacturing principles.
- Communicate with production associates, leads, and managers to ensure goals are met.
- Lead teams with a focus on professional development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial).
- Knowledge of lean and six sigma concepts.
- Junior level status is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
