About the role#
As a Digital Manufacturing Operations Engineer Intern, you will support the optimization of manufacturing operations using digital technologies. You will apply automation, data analytics, and simulation to improve efficiency, quality, and agility in a high-volume production environment. This role is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop and implement digital manufacturing solutions, including automation scripts and data models.
- Gather, clean, and analyze manufacturing data to identify process bottlenecks.
- Verify the effectiveness of new digital tools.
- Create and maintain project documentation, logging findings and procedures per quality and change management guidelines.
- Build a foundational understanding of manufacturing processes, product requirements, and engineering specifications.
- Gain experience with specialized software, test equipment, and measurement tools.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Lean Sigma principles.
- Proficiency in Google Applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Junior level status is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Compensation: $23 - $27 per hour.
