About the role#
The Site IT Intern supports the development, testing, and maintenance of current systems and applications. You will assist with daily IT support functions and help maintain the organization's technical infrastructure.
What you'll do#
- Resolve service desk tickets and document your resolution steps.
- Assist users with routine operational issues.
- Monitor applications and business services for alerts and analyze performance data.
- Update project, system, and disaster recovery documentation.
- Create and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Help develop simple to moderate new applications.
- Work on projects to maintain or improve existing hardware and software.
- Follow security policies to protect data and systems, identify vulnerabilities, and report potential incidents.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Junior level status.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site position.
- Compensation: This is a paid, full-time internship with an hourly rate of $23 to $25.
