About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to work within our manufacturing engineering team. You will support the design, development, and evaluation of integrated systems for industrial production. This role focuses on optimizing human work factors, quality control, logistics, and material flow.
What you'll do#
- Develop lean manufacturing solutions, including lead time reduction and pull systems.
- Support capacity planning for both short and long range goals.
- Design equipment and workspace layouts to reach maximum efficiency.
- Analyze production data, such as cycle times and flow, to find and fix inefficiencies.
- Create performance reports and data visualizations.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to execute process improvements.
- Modify and improve workstations and material deployment solutions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Industrial Engineering for the duration of the internship.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Draftsite.
- Proficiency in Google Applications.
- Sophomore or Junior level standing.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

- Location: Nampa, Idaho.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: This is an on-site, full-time position.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship with an hourly rate between $23 and $27.
