About the role#
The Operations Leadership Co-Op is a program for students seeking a path into manufacturing leadership. This position runs from January through August 2027. You will take on the responsibilities of a Production Leader and Supervisor while gaining experience in operations, supply chain, and warehouse management.
What you'll do#
- Support production schedules based on financial forecasts and customer commitments.
- Review factory resources to ensure you have the necessary human and equipment capacity.
- Maintain product and process quality according to internal, industry, and customer standards.
- Manage factory metrics to drive productivity and financial performance.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to daily operations.
- Provide guidance and direction to production operators.
- Communicate regularly with production leads and operations managers to meet production goals.
What you'll need#
- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
- Junior level academic status is preferred.
- Knowledge of lean and six sigma concepts.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks and lead others.
- Strong communication skills.
