About the role#
This is a paid internship for a Mechanical Engineer during the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Neenah, Wisconsin, supporting product development efforts across various stages of the design life cycle. This is a full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Develop mechanical components and system concepts to meet customer requirements.
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist with building and assembling prototypes, including using shop tools like mills or lathes while following safety procedures.
- Perform simple tests on materials or prototypes and document the results.
- Conduct preliminary analysis on tolerance stack ups, thermal, or structural designs.
- Attend meetings, contribute ideas, and take notes to learn from experienced engineering staff.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Mechanical Engineering for the duration of the internship.
- Sophomore or Junior level status is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Experience with Creo Parametric or SolidWorks is desired.
