About the role#
The IT Data Science Intern assists in the development, testing, documentation, and maintenance of current data science projects and applications. You will also provide support for daily IT functions during this summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with operations to translate business needs into technical solution requirements.
- Build proof of concept models using machine learning, optimization, simulation, and generative AI techniques.
- Construct data pipelines and products to support new and existing projects.
- Develop simple to moderate applications to meet company requirements.
- Follow standard procedures to analyze data and situations.
- Support the company cybersecurity posture by following security policies, protecting systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and reporting suspicious activity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Computer Science or MIS.
- Junior level academic status.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Compensation: Paid position ($23 - $25 per hour).
