About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in our Buffalo Grove, Illinois facility. You will work within the Operational Finance department to support site management and improve financial performance. This role involves direct participation in product costing, margin forecasting, and key balance sheet metrics.
What you'll do#
- Verify sales prices.
- Assist with month-end closing activities.
- Create and enter financial journals.
- Analyze historical results along with quoted and projected margins.
- Provide general finance and accounting support across the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Junior level status is preferred.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Familiarity with financial principles and accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, or other financial software.
- An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail for financial modeling.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
