About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based on-site in Neenah, Wisconsin. You will work with experienced hardware engineers to develop system concepts and hardware that meet customer requirements. The role includes mentorship and coaching to help you grow your technical skills.
What you'll do#
- Implement and verify hardware designs using EDA tools.
- Deliver prototype hardware by capturing schematics and supervising PCB layouts.
- Analyze circuit designs using simulation tools like SPICE and finite element software.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and hardware bring-up in the lab.
- Measure analog hardware performance using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and analyzers.
- Document projects according to quality and change management procedures.
- Collaborate with analog, digital, software, and mechanical engineering teams to refine designs.
- Participate in performance reviews to support your professional development.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering for the entire internship duration.
- Sophomore or Junior level status.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Relevant coursework in FPGA design and test benching (VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog) or Circuit Design and Layout.
