About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Fall 2027 based in Neenah, Wisconsin. You will work on-site to develop hardware and system concepts that meet customer requirements. You will receive mentorship and coaching from experienced hardware engineers throughout your time with the team.
What you'll do#
- Implement and verify hardware designs using EDA tools.
- Deliver prototype hardware by capturing schematics and supervising PCB layouts.
- Analyze circuit designs using simulation tools like SPICE and finite element analysis.
- Perform hands-on lab work, including troubleshooting and prototype bring-up.
- Measure analog hardware using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
- Collaborate with analog, digital, software, and mechanical engineers to review and improve designs.
- Document projects according to quality and change management procedures.
- Participate in performance reviews to support your professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
- Sophomore or Junior status.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Relevant coursework in FPGA design and test benching (VHDL, Verilog, or System Verilog) or Circuit Design and Layout.
