About the role#
As an Analog Engineer intern at Plexus Engineering Solutions, you will design and develop electrical hardware for products across various industries. You will work through the full product development life cycle, from initial concepts to manufacturing transitions. You will collaborate with digital, software, mechanical, and test engineers while receiving mentorship from experienced hardware staff.
What you'll do#
- Implement and verify hardware designs using EDA tools.
- Capture schematics and supervise PCB layouts to deliver prototype hardware.
- Analyze circuit designs using simulation tools like SPICE and finite element analysis.
- Perform hands-on troubleshooting and bring up of prototype hardware in the lab.
- Use electrical measurement tools including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers to assess performance.
- Work in a team environment to review and improve hardware designs.
- Develop project documentation following quality and change management procedures.
- Participate in performance reviews to support your professional growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Status as a Sophomore or Junior student.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

- Term: Summer 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
