About the role#
The Regulatory Compliance Consultant Intern joins our Risk and Accounting Advisory Services team. You will support clients by addressing critical business needs, ranging from Bank Secrecy Act reviews to general compliance management. This role focuses on helping clients navigate federal requirements, mitigate risks, and manage growth through an integrated solution approach.
What you'll do#
- Provide reporting assistance and analysis for various client engagements.
- Document and test client regulatory compliance processes.
- Identify and analyze potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare proposals and engagement letters.
- Produce reports and presentations that outline findings and recommend changes.
- Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines within tight time frames.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics, pre-law, or banking.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong organizational, communication, technical, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work as a detail-oriented leader and solve complex problems.
Location & details#
- Locations: Southfield, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, following a principally in-person model with flexibility.
- Term: Rolling applications.
- Status: Full-time and paid position.
- Travel: May require local, national, or occasional international travel.
- Note: This is a non-exempt position that may require work hours exceeding 40 hours per week.
