About the role#
Piper Sandler is hiring undergraduate students for a summer 2027 internship within the Public Finance division. This full-time, paid position is based in Leawood, Kansas. The Public Finance team provides financial advisory and underwriting services to not-for-profit entities and local or state governments.
What you'll do#
- Create and manage Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Build and maintain information sources.
- Compile pitchbooks for team use.
- Assist the Public Finance team with various projects and daily assignments.
What you'll need#
- Current undergraduate student status, with a graduation date in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
