About the role#
As an Alternatives Business Management Intern, you will support the operations of PIMCO’s alternatives business across various funds and accounts. You will work alongside portfolio managers to provide data and analytics that support decision-making. You will also contribute to transformative strategic initiatives led by the team.
What you'll do#
- Manage critical reporting, forecasting, capacity analysis, and budgeting for the alternatives business.
- Develop and manage strategic initiatives to help the business scale and mitigate risk.
- Create innovative, standardized, and scalable solutions.
- Lead complex projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Manage and oversee transactions throughout the deal lifecycle to maximize efficiency.
- Oversee the governance and administration of fund policies, procedures, and processes.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or Mathematics.
- Minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA.
- Must be enrolled at a university during the Fall 2027 semester.
- Business proficiency in English.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects simultaneously.

- Compensation: $43.26 per hour.
