About the role#
Perryman Company is hiring a summer intern for the Learning, Development, and Communications team. This role focuses on internal messaging, safety training, and company updates. You will work on-site at our Houston, Pennsylvania facility during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
You will help the Learning, Development, and Communications Specialist with daily operations and administrative tasks. Your work includes creating internal communications, graphics, and social media content. You will also assist in managing employee training programs and contribute to ongoing departmental projects. This position provides experience with systems like UKG Learning.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of communications principles.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus but not required.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
