About the role#
We are looking for a summer intern to join our Human Resources team in 2027. This role offers hands-on experience with employee relations, recruiting processes, and compliance within the primary metal manufacturing industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist the HR team with general administrative tasks and day-to-day operations.
- Support data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping using internal systems.
- Contribute to ongoing HR projects by completing assigned tasks.
- Gain exposure to HR systems like UKG and company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of general HR principles.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employee and company information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
