About the role#
As an Estimating Analyst student worker, you will support the Estimating team with data management, budget audits, and reporting. This role involves auditing existing takeoffs and identifying cost trends. You will work directly with the Senior Estimating Analyst to maintain accurate project data.
What you'll do#
- Assist the Senior Estimating Analyst in running reports and formatting data templates.
- Review blueprints and takeoffs to collect specific project data.
- Create, organize, and maintain spreadsheets for ongoing data collection.
- Review takeoffs to identify items and quantities that fall outside of typical usage.
- Coordinate with the team to update takeoffs as needed.
- Complete special projects as requested by the department.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university program, specifically in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Civil Engineering.
- A High School Diploma.
- Proficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

- This position is located in Houston, Texas.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a rolling internship opportunity.
- You must be able to work at least 10 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
