About the role#
Perry Homes is hiring a Construction Management Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Orlando, Florida. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will provide general support to the construction management team and assist with daily tasks across construction, customer service, quality control, and safety processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with construction procedures from sheetrock installation to home completion.
- Create and implement solutions for building issues involving inspectors, contractors, or suppliers.
- Coordinate warranty service according to company policy.
- Inspect materials and workmanship during and after installation to ensure quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with the subdivision safety program and report violations to the project manager.
- Maintain assigned inventory homes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in college with a major in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or Industrial Engineering.
- High School Diploma.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A current, valid driver license and reliable transportation.
Location & details#
- Location: Orlando, Florida.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, at least 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid internship.
