About the role#
As an Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience inside an operational facility. This role bridges classroom learning with practical application, providing exposure to plant operations and daily business activities. You will work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to operational initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support Team Leaders and Shift Leaders with daily tasks, including training and providing work direction.
- Help production staff ensure product quality and integrity.
- Verify that finished products meet or exceed customer requirements.
- Maintain an environment that supports associate retention.
- Administer company policies and procedures.
- Rotate through various functions in fresh or cook plants, such as receiving, processing, packing, and shipping.
- Meet operating, safety, and quality requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited four-year bachelor's degree program.
- Academic background in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Production Management, Business, Animal Science, Poultry Science, Agriculture, or Occupational Safety and Environmental Health.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.

- Location: Milford, Delaware.
- Modality: On-site.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
