About the role#
This internship supports the County of San Diego contract from June 2027 to August 2027. You will work alongside Peraton professionals on projects that modernize County services, including work on how AI applies to software design and delivery. This is a full-time, 10-week summer internship.
What you'll do#
- Create content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.
- Compare social media performance against industry peers.
- Present your findings and data to leadership teams.
- Help communicate how technology improves services for County residents.
What you'll need#
- US Citizenship.
- A high school diploma plus some advanced level training.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- Experience managing social accounts or creating content for a business, club, or organization.
- Strong writing skills.
- Proficiency with PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Experience with social analytics tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Meta analytics is preferred.
- Coursework in market research or industry benchmarking.
- Design or video skills using tools like Canva, Adobe, or CapCut.
- An interest in tech, government, or public-sector communications.
