About the role#
The Engineering Leadership Development Internship Program is a 12-week summer experience designed to provide hands-on professional development for students interested in Pentair's three-year rotational leadership program. Interns work on strategic business projects, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and participate in a cohort-based program that includes networking, executive speaker sessions, and a team case competition.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to a strategic business project that supports company goals.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals across the organization.
- Participate in professional development activities, including a team case competition and an intern summit.
- Present project objectives, processes, and outcomes to leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
- Gain hands-on experience through mentorship and coaching.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (Preferred Graduation Date: Spring 2028).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interest in pursuing the Pentair Engineering Leadership Development Program, which requires future relocation.
- Ability to work on-site during the summer of 2027.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
