About the role#
This 12-week internship program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop leadership skills through strategic business projects. You will work within a cohort of talented students, participating in development experiences such as mentorship, networking events, executive speaker sessions, and a team case competition. This program is designed to prepare participants for the next step in their career, with a specific focus on those interested in joining Pentair’s full-time Marketing Leadership Development Program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to meaningful work through hands-on, strategic business projects.
- Collaborate with experienced professionals on real-world initiatives.
- Participate in professional development, social, and volunteer experiences.
- Present project objectives, processes, and overall results to leadership at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Management, Public Health, or a related field.
- Enrolled as a junior undergraduate with a preferred graduation date of Spring 2028.
- Strong interest in pursuing the full-time Marketing Leadership Development Program upon graduation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Locations: Golden Valley, Minnesota and Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Term: Summer 2027 (12-week program).
- Schedule: Full-time (approximately 40 hours per week).
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: This position is paid.
