About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring a Pipeline Integrity Intern for a 12-month term based in Calgary. This role sits within the Technical Services Unit, which manages integrity programs for the company. You will work directly with engineers and technologists to support pipeline inspection and integrity projects.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers and technologists by organizing data, preparing reports, and managing information related to pipeline inspections.
- Assist with planning tasks, including updates to long-term integrity plans, budget analysis, and the preparation of monthly performance reports.
- Perform data quality tasks such as checking report accuracy, updating internal databases, and gathering information for risk reporting.
- Use software tools including SAP, Microsoft Office, Copilot, ChatGPT, and Dynamic Risk Software.
- Follow the company safety culture of Zero by Choice and adhere to all Life Saving Rules.
- Work effectively with others to contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with plans to return to school after the work term.
- A field of study in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in a team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a structured setting.
- Technical writing skills and previous exposure to an engineering environment are considered assets.
