Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Intern for a 12-month term based in Calgary, Alberta. This role reports to the Pipeline Integrity Supervisor within the Technical Services Unit, which manages comprehensive integrity management programs including pipeline inspections, geotechnical work, and asset management. The position is a full-time, on-site role scheduled to begin in September 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers and technologists by managing data, preparing reports, and organizing information related to pipeline integrity and inspections.
- Assist with planning activities, including updating long-term integrity plans, supporting budget analysis, and preparing monthly performance and KPI reports.
- Perform data quality tasks such as checking reports for accuracy, updating internal databases, and gathering information for risk reporting.
- Utilize technical tools including SAP, Microsoft Office, Copilot/ChatGPT, Dynamic Risk Software, and in-house databases.
- Uphold the company's 'Zero by Choice' safety culture by following all Life Saving Rules and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Contribute to an equitable and inclusive workplace by collaborating effectively with team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field, with the intent to return to school following the work term.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong technical writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively in a professional team environment.
- Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn within a structured engineering environment.
- Previous exposure to an engineering environment is considered an asset.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Term: Fall 2026 (12-month duration).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Requirements: Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within 100 km of Calgary. A pre-employment criminal record check is required.
