About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Intern for a full-time, 12-month internship based in Calgary, Alberta. This role sits within the Technical Services Unit and supports the management of comprehensive integrity programs, including pipeline inspections, risk reporting, and asset management. The position is scheduled to begin in September 2026.
What you'll do#
- Support engineers and technologists by managing data, preparing reports, and organizing information related to pipeline integrity and inspections.
- Assist with planning activities, including updating long-term integrity plans, supporting budget analysis, and preparing monthly performance reports.
- Maintain data quality by checking report accuracy, updating databases, and gathering information for risk reporting.
- Utilize technical systems including SAP, Microsoft Office, Dynamic Risk Software, and AI tools to support daily operations.
- Actively participate in the Zero by Choice safety culture by following all Life Saving Rules.
- Contribute to an inclusive work environment by working collaboratively and respectfully with team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program, specifically in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering, with a plan to return to school following the term.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills suitable for a professional environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Solid technical writing skills and a demonstrated work ethic.
- Prior exposure to an engineering environment is considered an asset.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the 12-month term.
