About the role#
The Administration & Contracts Intern will join the PGI Commercial Group in Calgary. This role supports the team in meeting contractual, regulatory, and fiduciary obligations across the Joint Venture and commercial portfolio. You will work on a 12-month contract starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage over 500 agreements and all related documentation.
- Maintain the PGI contract tracker and database.
- Administer contract updates, including name changes, amalgamations, and counterparty assignments.
- Manage the JV Admin inbox and mail ballots while communicating with 19 Working Interest Owners regarding 48 JV assets.
- Provide support to the Commercial, Legal, Accounting, and Logistics teams.
- Use tools like Microsoft Office, SAP, and AI assistants to support daily operations.
- Complete a project and present your findings at the end of your term.
- Comply with all safety policies and Life Saving Rules.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Engineering, Legal, or Finance, with plans to return to school after the term.
- Ability to commit to the full 12-month duration.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
