General Labour Summer Student

About the role#

This is a full-time, 4-month summer student position based in Regina, Saskatchewan. The role reports to the Area Supervisor in the Alliance Pipeline Asset and involves supporting daily operations and maintenance tasks within the Transmission Pipelines Business Unit.

What you'll do#

• Perform light site maintenance activities under supervision, such as painting, weed trimming, warehouse cleanup, and conducting site inspections.
• Assist Operations and Maintenance technicians with their daily responsibilities.
• Complete basic office and administrative duties, including tasks that support the Operating Management System.
• Utilize software tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and AI assistants like Copilot and ChatGPT to support team functions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and the company's Life Saving Rules at all times.
• Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace by working effectively and respectfully with others.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an Industrial Engineering program.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driver abstract.
• Ability to perform moderate physical labour.
• Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a structured environment.
• Ability to commit to the full 4-month term and the required schedule.
• Previous experience in the oil and gas industry or operating equipment like forklifts, bobcats, or weed trimmers is considered an asset.

Location & details#

• Location: Regina, SK, Canada.
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days.
• Requirement: Candidates must reside within 100 km of Regina, SK.
