About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is hiring a Cyber Security Intern for our Calgary office. This 8-month contract position reports to the Manager of Cyber Security Ops and Identity Management. You will support the Cyber Operations and Identity and Access Management teams with daily tasks and ongoing initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and identity governance activities.
- Assist with process automation and compliance reporting.
- Help with operational improvements.
- Participate in a specific project and present your outcomes or learnings.
- Use tools such as Windows, Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft Office.
- Support our safety culture of Zero by Choice and follow our Life Saving Rules.
- Work in a manner that is Safe, Trustworthy, Respectful, Collaborative, and Entrepreneurial.
- Contribute to an equitable, diverse, and inclusive workplace.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with the intent to return to school after the term.
- Studies in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the work term.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.

- Requirement: You must live within 100 km of Calgary.
