About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a Commercial Application Projects Intern for an 8-month term. This role is based within the Information Services Unit and focuses on supporting a system upgrade project. You will bridge the gap between technical teams and business operations to ensure requirements are met and the system is ready for go-live. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Calgary, Alberta.
What you'll do#
- Build and validate business requirements by identifying upgrade impacts, documenting functional needs, and ensuring traceability through testing and sign-off.
- Support testing processes by developing scenarios and scripts, clarifying expected outcomes during system integration and regression testing, and assessing defects from a business perspective.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing business users, supporting execution, and acting as a liaison between testers and the project team.
- Consolidate UAT results to communicate risks and confirm that the upgraded system meets business requirements for launch.
- Uphold the company safety culture of Zero by Choice by following all Life Saving Rules and prioritizing the safety of yourself and others.
What you'll need#
- Completion of or current enrollment in a degree in Business (with a concentration in Management of Information Systems or Operations Management) or Computer Science.
- Commitment to return to school following the completion of the work term.
- Ability to commit to the full 8-month duration of the internship.
- Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn within a structured environment.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
- Residence within 100 km of Calgary, Alberta.
