About the role#
Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a Commercial Application Projects Intern for an 8-month term based in Calgary. This role sits within the Information Services Unit and focuses on supporting a system upgrade project by bridging the gap between business needs and technical execution.
What you'll do#
- Build and validate business requirements by identifying upgrade impacts, documenting functional needs and acceptance criteria, and ensuring traceability through to sign-off.
- Support testing efforts by developing test scenarios and scripts, clarifying expected outcomes during system integration and regression testing, and assessing defects from a business perspective.
- Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing business users, providing support during execution, and acting as the primary liaison between testers and the project team.
- Manage business readiness by consolidating UAT results, communicating residual risks, and confirming the system meets requirements for go-live.
- Support the company safety culture of 'Zero by Choice' by following all Life Saving Rules and maintaining a focus on the safety of yourself and others.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or have completed a degree in Business (with a concentration in Management of Information Systems or Operations Management) or Computer Science.
- Must be returning to school following the completion of the work term.
- Demonstrated reliability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a structured environment.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the 8-month term.
- Must be legally able to work in Canada.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta (Candidates must live within 100 km of the office).
