Admin Intern

About the role#

This is a full-time, paid 4-month administrative internship for the Summer 2026 term. Based in the Grande Prairie, Alberta office, this role supports local field and office operations. The position requires on-site attendance from Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Candidates must reside within 100 km of Grande Prairie, Alberta, and be available for the full duration of the term.

What you'll do#

• Provide front-desk reception coverage, including greeting visitors and responding to general inquiries.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and courier shipments.
• Inventory, organize, and sort physical and electronic documents.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and database updates.
• Support daily work and learning activities using tools such as SAP, Microsoft Office, and Copilot/ChatGPT.
• Participate in the company safety culture and follow established safety policies and procedures.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with a plan to return to school following the work term.
• A field of study aligned with Business Administration or providing relevant transferable skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage confidential information.
• Professional communication skills for interactions in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Familiarity with Copilot/ChatGPT is considered an asset.
• Ability to work independently with guidance and a commitment to safety.
